39 week training plan and specialities
- 2-4 weeks: medicine wards (admissions, gen med, resp, CF, gastro, care of the elderly)
- 2-4 weeks: surgery wards (T&0, gen surgery, gastro surgery)
- 2-4 weeks: cardiac wards (cardiology, cardiac surgery, CICU step down)
- 2-4 weeks: Medicines Information
- 2 weeks: aseptics (including CART cell therapy, gene therapy, intravenous nutrition, radiopharmacy and clinical trials)
- 1 wee: clinical oncology/haematology/bone marrow transplant/CART cells
- 2 weeks: clinical paediatrics & women’s health (NICU/PICU, obs/gynae, renal transplants, dialysis, nutrition, metabolic medicine, neurology, palliative care)
- 2-4 weeks: community/GP if not part of your cross sector

- 2 trainee placements (1 from UHBW and 1 from NBT)
- Pharmacy functions as a GP practice pharmacy + community pharmacy serving the prison population of 4 prisons in Bristol
- Shadow prescribing pharmacists in long term condition clinics
- Supervise medication administration
